Urbis was a museum and exhibition centre intended to showcase inner-city Manchester life and opened on 27 June 2002 as a symbol of regeneration after the IRA's 1996 Manchester bombing. It lasted until 2010 when it closed, and was fully refitted in preparation to the relocation of the a national Football Museum. The Printworks centre is seen behind.
