Pontefract Lights Switch on Event

More publicised than in 2020, an event took place in Pontefract Town Centre on 28th November 2021, when three historic buildings were illuminated with multi coloured flood lights to impressive effect. This coincided with the official Haribo sponsored Christmas lights switch on, and this enjoyed a larger attendance than the previous year. Again, the event received critical acclaim from town folk and photographers who attended the event and followed on social media. The lights form a ceiling outside the Liquorice Bush and Red Lion pubs.
