The Bucyrus Erie 1150b Walking Dragline Excavator is seen in sunshine at St. Aiden’s opencast mine near Swillington on Sunday 15th January 2023. This massive excavator is preserved at the site. It was known as “Oddball” by way of having a different electrical system to the rest of the fleet.
